“The work of healing requires a sense of presence, not expertise.” — Francis Weller Hey Reader, What if healing didn’t require figuring anything out? What if the moment you feel the urge to understand, analyze, or fix yourself is simply a signal that you’ve moved into your mind, not because you’re doing something wrong, but because you’ve left the present moment. That impulse to “figure it out” isn’t a failure. It’s just the mind doing what it knows how to do. When I notice myself caught in that loop, I don’t try to push through or find a better answer. I take it as a cue to pause. To slow down. To come back into my body. To stop asking questions for a moment and simply listen. Healing doesn’t happen because we finally understand ourselves. It happens when there’s enough safety to feel what’s already here, without pressure to explain it, justify it, or make sense of it. Sometimes the most supportive thing we can do is let go of the need to know and stay right where we are. That’s often where something begins to shift on its own. A gentle inquiry (you can try this now)If it feels okay, pause for a moment. Notice what’s happening in your body as you read this. Is there a sensation, a feeling, or a quality of energy that wants your attention? Without trying to change it or understand it, see if you can simply offer it a little space. What happens when you let it be just as it is? If this resonates, reach out! This is the kind of space I create in my 1:1 work - slow, compassionate, and grounded in the body.
With Love, XOXO Francie P.S. There are currently three 5-session Compassionate Inquiry packages open for January. This work is a gentle, trauma-informed, somatic process to explore the roots of your patterns and build safety from the inside out. Certification package pricing will increase at the end of January. If you’re feeling curious or quietly called, you’re welcome to begin your journey now. Hey lovely Reader, More than ten years ago I was singing on the beach in Koh Phangan with a sister when a song by Lena Moon called Wise in Her Ways found its way to me. I felt an immediate connection. One of those moments when a song lands in your heart and you know it’s meant to travel. And somehow, that’s exactly what happened. Around that time my soul sister Lindsey Wise was pregnant with her third child and invited me to her blessing way. I felt called to come to Bali to share the song...
